Engagement Rings, Day 4

Today we've got a gorgeous Victorian engagement ring produced in France during the late 1800's. It features a beautiful euro-cut diamond (just shy of 1/2 carat) with lots of brilliance & sparkle. The 14k Yellow Gold band has a nice, low crown setting with some lovely hand engraving and milgrain work on either side of the stone. Don't expect this one to be around too long..

Engagement Rings, Day 3

Day 3 of our Engagement Ring installment brings us to yet another lovely piece. This late Nouveau period ring features some beautiful scroll work along the 14k yellow gold band illuminating a 14k white gold top that's cradling a brilliant 1/4 carat center diamond. This, perfection in it's simplicity!

Engagement Rings, Day 2

Another incredible vintage ring for you today! This one just came into the shop. Here we have a beautiful Art Deco ring in 18k white gold featuring a stunning center diamond of about half a carat. The two side marquis diamonds feature some gorgeous milgrain detailing around them. This ring offers a tiered profile which adds beautiful lines to the design & makes the sparkle of the stones just pop. This is a great example of an antique ring that's totally classic yet retains a distinctly modern edge some 100 years on from when it was made.

This stunning ring has it all - brilliance and bling in a delicate, streamlined setting that looks incredible on any finger.

Sounds of the Shop

As much time as we spend getting our aesthetic elements & displays just right, the 'sound' of a store is ideally an integral part of the experience. I've always felt that music has an almost physical presence in a space and getting the right balance of comfort & surprise in a mix is no small feat. When we opened in 2007, painstakingly epic playlists were made to last the days thru so our employees wouldn't lose their minds listening to the same spool over & over. Today we're sharing one of our many Spotify playlists - alot of time has been given to creating these as most run for 5 hours, if not more. They all pull from different genres and decades with the goal being a soundtrack that's accessible yet unexpected. This is one of many and we'll continue posting more. You can also follow us if you like..enjoy!

Unicorn

If you've walked by our Northampton store in the past week you might have noticed a new addition to our decor - a beautiful, life-size unicorn head peering out at you as you walk by. Rebekah conceived & fabricated this with a little help from a friend. It has glass taxidermy eyes, a flowing mane and successfully brings an other-worldly feel to your shopping experience. We've already had many inquiries into purchasing it but at this point it's not for sale. Perhaps she can be convinced to cast it in Bronze!
